For some great views of the Old City, climb the metal stairway on the corner of Habad St and St Mark's Rd or the steep stone stairs in the southwestern corner of the Khan as-Sultan, both of which lead onto the rooftops around the David St and Al-Wad markets. Come up during the day for a peek through the ventilation ducts at the bustle below but also make a night-time visit to appreciate the Old City in its moonlit silhouette.
