The second-oldest public zoo in Europe, the Dublin Zoo calls itself home to more than 700 animals, including rhinos, gorillas, leopards, penguins and polar bears. Apart from the animal antics, children will enjoy the regular feedings, the minitrain ride through the zoo grounds, the African safari plains and, if all else fails, the big playground.
