Kevin Thornton may have lost one of his two Michelin stars a few years ago, but he has proved somewhat defiantly that Michelin’s loss was his customer’s gain, and his mouth-watering interpretation of modern French cuisine is as superb as ever. Faultless service, gorgeous room overlooking St Stephen’s Green…want to watch a grown-up squirm? Ask for ketchup.
