It's hardly recognisable as such today, but this hotel just off Grafton St is actually a couple of converted Georgian townhouses. Its 75 modern rooms are designed along the lines of function before form, ideal for the weekend visitor who wants to bed down somewhere central and still keep some credit-card space for a good night out. Breakfast is included.

    Description provided by property

The Grafton Capital Hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Gaiety Theatre and Grafton Street, Dublin’s premier shopping district. It offers spacious bedrooms, a stylish bar and a nightclub.

Rooms are decorated in light colours and feature TVs and work desks. They include tea/coffee-making facilities and bathrooms with power showers.

Temple Bar is a 5-minute walk away and the hotel has a 24-hour reception. There is a LUAS tram stop at St Stephen’s Green, which is 500 metres from the Grafton Capital Hotel.

The Break for the Border is a super-pub open from Thursday to Saturday, offering 5 bars, a heated mezzanine area and a variety of dining options, including Mexican and traditional dishes. The main bar is split over 2 levels and features beautiful wood-polished furniture and a decorative ceiling.

There are smaller bars with comfortable leather seating and live sports are shown on large wall-mounted TVs. The fashionable nightclub has well known DJs performing at weekends.
