Lonely Planet review for Grogan’s Castle Lounge
Known simply as Grogan’s (after the original owner), this old place is a city-centre institution. Long patronised by writers, painters and other bohemian types (whose work it often displays on the walls), it’s laid-back and contemplative much of the day. Oddly, drinks are slightly cheaper in the stone-floor bar than in the carpeted lounge.
