But then we would go to one or maybe two places. We would prefer public transportation but could rent a car. We like history, culture and natural beauty. What suggestions do folks have?

We, (family of four Alaskans with hiking experience) would appreciate some suggestions for a 3 night, four day walk on the Dingle Peninsula. We would like to include Brandon Peak and other "best of the peninsula" spots. Considerations include getting back to our car at the starting point and accomodations available along the way as we will not have wild camping gear along. Thanks!

I have read some of the posts and researched the sites suggested. I would now like to get some opinions on renting a car from Sixt via Car Hire 3000. Has anyone had any experiences with this company or any comments to make please?
