Lonely Planet review

This tastefully restored former rectory with its period furniture, old prints and antiques offers five comfy good-value rooms, including a honeymoon room with jacuzzi. A honeymooning Charlotte Brontë was a frequent visitor and, after her death, her husband Arthur lived here as the rector. Breakfast stars eggs fresh from the chickens and the pretty garden is home to two pint-size Fallabella horses (one of the smallest breeds in the world).

Our independent authors have visited Charlotte's Way and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Banagher & Around.
