Lonely Planet review
The Shirley Arms has a warm stone exterior, behind which lies a pleasant modern hotel with spacious rooms and decent food right in the centre of town. White linens, walnut floors and modern bathrooms make the rooms contemporary but rather corporate in style while the open-plan bar and lounge create an informal setting for some excellent bar food (mains €12 to €15).
Our independent authors have visited The Shirley Arms Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Carrickmacross & Around.
