Description provided by property
Set within 200 acres of grounds, the Rossnaree House offers fishing on the River Boyne. This private country estate is in the heart of the Boyne Valley, opposite the ancient temples of Newgrange, Knowth, and Dowth.
In the mornings, full Irish breakfast is prepared using free-range eggs from the Rossnaree’s small farm. Overlooking the gardens and the wooded glen, the elegant dining room features a mahogany table and antique china.
The individually styled rooms benefit from an en suite or private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Many of the rooms feature stunning views over the countryside. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and free private parking is available within the grounds.
The Rossnaree House is surrounded by beautiful landscape, steeped in Irish mythology and folklore. The prehistoric monuments of Newgrange and Knowth are just 1 km away. The village of Slane is just 4 km from the country house and the Battle of the Boyne Centre is 15 minutes’ drive.
