Hi there!

I'm sure this is a long shot but oh well. I was just wondering whether 4000 EUR or 8000 NZD would be enough to sustain me in Dublin or Galway whilst finding a job. I'm thinking of giving myself 2 months to find a job. I'm not quite sure what the living costs are like compared to New Zealand and would be grateful for any advice towards my trip! I have already paid for my return ticket and travel insurance and have included the cost of my GNIB Registration onto this :) Any tips and…

I realize we’ll be driving several hours every day and staying in different cities every night. I will avoid night time driving (10pm sunset in June). Should I move the driving between cities to the end of each day instead of beginning? Should I get GPS or are maps and signage sufficient? I’m trying to select the best of natural beauty, castles and culture for the time I’ll be there. If this is still unrealistically crunched for time, please advise what to pull out. Additional help and…

Hi

I will be in Dublin for work this July and want to hop over to Manchester to see my family before flying back from Dublin to Vienna on my "work-paid" flight ;-) What's the cheapest (and ideally most luggage-friendly) way of doing this? I have found flights on Ryanair from DUB-MAN for €90 return, Eurolines ferry/coach for €61 return (overnight), and train/ferry für €88 return. Anyone got any other ideas? Obviously Ryanair is the quickest and most convenient (in theory!) but I will be going to…

My wife and 12 year old son will be visiting Ireland from April 23-30, 2016 and would love suggestions on an itinerary. She wants to see Belfast and the Giant's Causeway in NI and I want to see the scenic landscapes in the southwest. We will be renting a car.

Right now we have the following:

Saturday - April 23 - Arrive in Dublin, rent car and head to Belfast. Check in at hotel (or drop off bags) and do a Black Taxi tour of Belfast, lunch. Check in. Time and jet lag permitting, drive to see…

I will be in Galway at the end of March and would like to go out to the Aran Islands. I found a tour group that will take me out to the islands and I will have the option to rent a bike or take their tour bus. Is this worth the money or should I just take the ferry when I get there(Galway).

Hello All,

I am looking for feedback on the following B&B's regarding location, good choice, and if these are considered good rates or if I should look for a better value. Looking for great experience but still on a modest budget. We'll be there the first week of April.

•Kilkenny: Pinecrest B&B at 80 euro for a double w/breakfast (Saturday night)
•Dingle: Towerview B&B at 75 euro per night for a double w/breakfast (Browns is not available) - also looking into The Lighthouse
•Kenmare: Seashore…

Going to be in Ireland this June, wondering if anyone living over there has a snapchat and wanted to post their username? I'd love to get first hand tips, and pictures of the beautiful country from actual locals!

Hallo! My hubby and I will be spending 5 days in Ireland as part of our 14 day honeymoon (the other 9 days will be spent in Holland with his family). I know 5 days is not a lot of time to enjoy the beautiful country of Ireland so I was wondering what people suggest to visit and do while there?

We definitely want to enjoy the natural beauty of the country, as we are both photographers, so what are your top "must-see" landscapes? Most "photogenic" parts of Ireland (though from what I've seen and…

Are there any Canadians out there who have tips for car leasing in Ireland?
