Introducing Mountcharles to Bruckless
Donegal’s scenery-o-meter starts to crank up when you reach the coast, just to the west of Donegal town, and it steadily intensifies as you head north. The first coastal communities you’ll reach are tiny but no less beautiful. Apart from a scattering of pubs and cafés in Mountcharles and Dunkineely, there are few places to eat (especially in winter), so stock up before leaving Donegal town or Killybegs.
