Lonely Planet review

Reminiscent of Italy’s Cinque Terre, this converted corn mill has a lovely location overlooking Bunbeg harbour, within earshot of wooden boats knocking against each other. Nonguests can pop in for home-cooked chowder, fishermen’s pie or open crab sandwiches at its summertime cafe-bar, or soak up the sun on the bar terrace with a pint.

Our independent authors have visited Bunbeg House and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Gweedore & Around.
