My brother and I will be visiting Ireland next month, for 5 nights. All accommodation and car hire has been paid for. The Galway and Limerick accommodation has breakfast included, but Dublin does not. Both Galway and Limerick accommodation have free parking.
Day 1 we arrive early evening, into the airport, and will be getting a bus into the city. Checking into a hotel in Temple Bar. Dinner and Drinks. Allocated 50 euro each
Day 2 Full day and evening in Dublin. Breakfast, lunch…

We are looking at taking a caravan holiday next year to southern Ireland, and we would like to take our dog with us, but very confused about having a passport for her, do we need one....travelling on Stena line from Holyhead to Dublin and returning 14 days later.
From what I can understand it is a legal requirement, but Stena line never check for one...is this correct.
Question: do we a dog passport!.
I am in Ireland next week going early in advance of a work trip and wanted to try to spend Thur-Sun driving and covering the two things in Ireland that aren't necessarily practical together before returning back to Dublin on Sunday night. I have always wanted to see Belfast and look around. Also, based on timing, wanted to also check out West Ireland. From initial research was thinking about trying to drive and look around Galway and Claire for a couple days then backtracking up to…
I will be vacationing in Ireland. Can I purchase tickets on Irish Rail while I am in the United States before I leave? If so, do I print out tickets here in the U.S. or do I have to pick them up at the rail station in Ireland? Also, are there e-ticket versions? Thanks.
We have 9 adults (8 travelling from Philadelphia to visit my son who is studying this semester in Galway and will travel with us through Ireland). We will be flying in and out of Shannon, arriving 12/21 7am and departing 12/27 9am. We would like to travel from Shannon to Dublin the first morning and stay overnight in Dublin, then to Cork and stay overnight, followed by 2 nights in Killarney and 2 nights in Galway. I know this is ambitious but wondering if it is doable. We have only booked…
My partner and I (24 and 23 at time of travel) are starting to plan our trip to Ireland in September 2016. I have been to New Zealand with family a couple of years ago as my only trip outside of Australia, however, my partner has never been outside of Australia.
We are looking to spend 4 - 6 weeks in Ireland (Both North and Republic) mostly in Self-Drive. We are both interested in almost everything on offer - History, Scenery, Castles, Literature, Music, Art, Culture, Food etc. We…
I'm currently planning a working holiday/gap year in Ireland next year having already booked my first month in Dublin and my flights. I was just wondering if there were any tips and tricks you could pass on when embarking on a working holiday in Ireland?? Plus, the relative cost of living in Ireland? I'm thinking of staying and working in either Galway or Waterford.
Hi there, I know I am looking far ahead as my trip to Ireland will be October 2016 to celebrate my 50th birthday. Our party will be travelling from Canada to Dublin... plans are to spend three weeks in Ireland, loose itinerary is to travel from Dublin to Northern Ireland, a stop in the Tundragee area, and from there we are flexible. We would like to see the usual spots, Giants Causeway, etc. But we are wondering how long is reasonable to spend in the north while being able to take in all of…
I'm planning a trip to Ireland from 23 December until 3 January. From what I've read, this may not be the best time to visit, but it's the only time I have off. Ireland has long been high up on my list of places to see, but some of what I've read has been discouraging (nothing to do for a traveler on Christmas, NYE not being anything special, etc).
I'm a solo traveller, 24 years old from the US. I'll be staying at hostels and looking to meet locals. Obviously will do a bit of partying…
