Lonely Planet review
Old-fashioned Casey's has been welcoming guests since 1884 (Éamon de Valera stayed here). The 19 rooms have been modernised a bit but are still small. It's got stacks of atmosphere, though, and the vast terrace is a treat. The bar serves classics like beef and Guinness pie; the restaurant ups the ante with crabmeat-stuffed salmon and honey-roasted half duck.
Our independent authors have visited Casey's Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Glengarriff.
