Description provided by property
In the town of Cobh, the family-owned Bella Vista Hotel overlooks Cork Harbour. This luxurious Victorian villa offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, a traditional Irish Bar, restaurant and free parking.
Bedrooms at The Bella Vista Hotel & Self Catering Suites feature a satellite LCD HDTV and tea/coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms have baths and showers and most rooms have views of Cork Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the world.
The award-winning Continental Restaurant has ocean views and serves European and Chinese food. The cosy Full Rustic Bar offers Guinness, a fine selection of whiskeys and open fires. Each morning, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast of homemade brown bread, scones, and muffins, as well as cereals or a full Irish breakfast.
Cobh town centre is just a 5-minute walk away and fishing is available at the harbour. There are around 30 golf courses within a 30-minute drive.
Bella Vista caters to fishing groups and is able to organise boat hire for fishing trips as well as fishing tackle and equipment.
From Cork City, the journey time is approximately 25 minutes. Travel via the N8 and take the Cobh exit, approximately 8 miles from Cork City, then the R624 to Cobh. We are also only a 40 minute drive from two beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches and the well-known family activity centre of Trabolgan. Cobh is also a great portal to the rest of the East Cork region, West Cork, and to the surrounding counties. We are only a 1 hour drive from the breathtaking Mitchelstown Caves, 1 hour drive from the scenic seaside town of Kinsale, 2 hours from the beautiful Killarney region, and only 40 minutes from the infamous Blarney Castle.
The hotel is open 365 days a year including Christmas Day. Guests with special wishes are welcome to contact the hotel directly using the contact details on the booking confirmation.
