Lonely Planet review for Ananda Vegetarian Restaurant & Coffee Shop
Way up in north Tehran the Ananda is a gem if you’re a vegetarian, and delightful even if you’re not. Run in association with the Iranian Society of Vegetarians, there’s no chance of finding rogue bits of meat here and the food is both delicious and cheap. We can recommend the Ananda lasagne (IR35,000) and Ananda calzone (IR33,000), the freshly made salad (no plastic wrap!) and the service and setting.

A Taste of Persia
rayden recommends this,
The land is very vivid and very hot. This is one spectacular place to be in while you have friends or family, or even just going solo. The food is great and the people are nice. If you ever stop by the place order the Adas Polo, it is simply divine. I know many of you out there are not vegetarians, but still, it is a place to good because you not only taste more than the food, you taste the culture and the dynamics of the place. It is just simply divine.
