Hi, I will be in Tehran in late October from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning when i join a tour. I am in the process of arranging a guide for the day and a half. Could I please have suggestions of how best to spend the time?
Can anyone tell me the price for a tourist visa for Iran for a UK passport holder applying in London? I understand that it is possible to get a standard (five day?) service or a one day service, presumably at a higher rate?
I should have my "code" in the next few weeks.
I need to book internal flights for my travel in Iran - please can someone who has done this previously share how you went about doing it -- through an agent, or directly online?
Thanks a lot!
Told that I will have to pay in USD cash for Iranian tour. But I will be on another ( not related) tour in Europe before. What to do? Fearful of traveling with so much cash on me.
Also do I need to watch out about the different currency rates with this? According to what I have read on forum there is a large variation between official rate and what is available.
We are unmarried couple travelling to Iran. We got our hotel already booked but the problem is that it's double room for both of us, so each one of us will have ohter person's details on reservation. Will they ask for marriage certificate at the airport?
I am a mexican Citizen (so not eligible for an ESTA) living in France I have a 10 year B2 type US VISA (obtained in 2014) which I use mostly to transit on my way home.
I would like to go to Iran in September for tourism.
And so I would like to know if I will be denied boarding in France or denied transit through the US if I have an Iranian stamp on my passport.
I found lots of information regarding ESTA nationalities but none (including the US embassy which doesn't answer any phone…
I am currently in Australia and have an Australian and a British passport. I'm planning to travel independently around Iran in about 5 weeks' time- so I understand I will need to use my australian passport (as UK passport holders have to be on a tour). However, my Australian passport has an exit stamp from Amman Airport (I flew from there to Dubai in 2014). There is no israel stamp or entry stamp into Jordan (I crossed overland from Israel). Will the Iranians query why I don't have a Jordan…
I've read somewhere that one must make train reservations weeks in advance in Iran. Is that true? Or does it apply only to particular trains? If it is not true, how long in advance should I make train reservations? I plan to go there in September and I would like to be flexible and make reservations for the same or next day. All and any advice is appreciated.
