Lonely Planet review for Yord Cultural Complex

In an enormous colourful yord (tent) about 8km northwest of town, this complex not only offers the chance to enjoy some fine Iranian-nomad food, but also to experience the Qashqa’i culture. The warm atmosphere, colourful costumes, live music and delicious food afford a dreamy escape from modern life into a Qashqa’i tented embrace. Yord is almost impossible to reach by public transport, so ask your hotel to write the name in Farsi and get a taxi (about IR25,000); it is also worth paying the taxi to wait for you (about IR70,000 total) as taxis out here are rare indeed.

    Nothing short of amazing

    andrestgt recommends this,

This place is almost impossible to find (even my taxi driver got lost twice) but dinner at Yord is one of the most memorable dinign experiences you'll ever have. As soon as you step into the huge tent it feels like entering a different world, a world of ancient Central Asian steppe romannce complete with fireplace, cushions and qalyan. An old woman bakes bread on an archaic, traditional oven and there's traditional, almost psychedelic background music.
The food? Well, this place isn't really about the food, but the kebabs are succulent and portions are big, it's actually great value; there's also a large salad and dessert buffet. Expect to pay about 10€ for the buffet + kebabs, a waterpipe and a pot of tea+cake.

The Most Unique Plce In Iran

    parvizro recommends this,

If you are some how tiered of visiting too many places ,and ,you are looking for some place to rest and relax after long day tour in the city and around, this place is the right one to bring you this feeling .
Take a shower and ask a person who is familiar with Yord Complex .It takes a time to get in the middle of no where but it seems real remote from all the crowd and busy traffic of the city so lay on a pillow and sip tea and smoke water pipe(if you like) while the hosts are preparing traditional bread and live music singing joyful songs .
