The Canyon Café has good english food and they also prepare the local speciality, dadiah campur, which is a tasty mixture of oats, coconut, fruit, molasses and buffalo-milk yogurt.

    Tip top... No words can describe my THANKFUL for the hospitality given by Canyon café’s staff. Introduce by Pak Das (Kartini Hotel) to one of the café’s members; Benny makes me feel very lucky. So called “good in communicating in English” is a main reason for the tourist to choose them as the link to see and learn their culture. Rumi act as my tour guide makes me feel very comfortable to be with. His patient and kindness makes me continue using his services during my stay at Bukit Tinggi. Perhaps I can be there again for a Merapi trip…maybe next year…who knows… the best part, nothing can be regret…. (“,)
