Lonely Planet review for Bedudal Café

For bread, beer and English menus, try Bedudal Café or Canyon Café. They also prepare the local speciality, dadiah campur, which is a tasty mixture of oats, coconut, fruit, molasses and buffalo-milk yogurt.

    amazing hospitality

    zeeghani recommends this,

Fikar and the guys running Bedudal Cafe are awesomely hospitable people, great sense of humour, trustworthy, very entertaining, caring and full of enthusiam about their cafe and tour guide business. Chef Ray makes the best homemade bread ever and we kept going back for more. Danny edges you into a song while Fikar strums on the guitar. After a full day of sight-seeing led by Fikar from Lite n Easy Tours and 'when in minang do what the minangs do', what better way to end the day.

Came in as a tourist, left as a friend

    ecosg recommends this,

It was great to find a friendly, laid back cafe with lots of food choices and good coffee. We went back numerous times for breakfast (delish homemade bread) and dinner. We felt so welcomed and comfortable that we almost forgot we were just tourists visiting for a while.
Made alot of friends especially the guys who ran the Lite & Easy tours based within the cafe. Ask for Fikar.
