Headed to Berastagi in an hour or two and need a place to stay! Want a cheaper hostel (100,000max) which is social and I'll meet people to trek with! Can anyone recommend a hostel?
Hello, we are travelling with our child to Mount Bromo and Ijen and we would like to book a private tour to be more relaxed. We will arrive to Surabaya and, after Ijen we will head to Ubud. We are going in november. Any suggestion for a travel agency to organize it? how much can cost? Any idea to avoid the crowds
Myself and 2 friends are going to be in Kuta for NYE and then we want to go to the Gili Islands 2nd Jan
Do we need to book accommodation for the Gilis in advance? How long would you say is a good length of time to spend there? And where's best to book transport from Kuta to Gilis?
Thanks in advance for responses
just arrived in Labuan Bajo from Riung. The new entry fee for Riung national park is 100.000 Rp ! Renting a boat for a daytrip there is quite expensive. They offered a boat for 3 people for 900.000 Rp, for 6 people for 1.2 Mio Rp ( without bargaining, including food). Instead of making the daytrip me and 3 friends rented a boat to Labuan Bajo for 2 Mio Rp. Nice trip along the coast with some snorkelling and stop at the Riung bat island. The journey took us 10 hours with about 1hour…
I need some information. What is the current situation with ferries, speed ferries or speed boats from Padang (Sumatra) to Siberut (Mentawai).
Does someone has new informations on the schedules prices etc...????

I am planning a nice trip to Indonesia but I am a little stuck and hope that you can help me out.
We have a return flight to Jakarta this December and I would like to visit the Komodo Islands. My plan is to fly there and then travel back overland (and sea), so that we are in Komodo early December and end in Jakarta at the end of December.
1. Are there flights from Jakarta to Flores (Labuanbajo) or do we need to fly to Bali and transfer there?
We are a bit concerned about the rainy season.
