I need help planning my Indonesia trip for June 2017.
Trip length: 30 days- from 2nd of June to 30th of June
My trip will start in Jakarta and has to end in Jakarta, as I got cheap flights to/from there.
It will be my 3rd time in Indonesia so I am familiar with some of the areas, but I need your expertise to make it even better this time, also I am aware that Ramadan period will be in June as well.
Plan that I have made up in my head so far: I will arrive to Jakarta 2nd of June, I have no…
I'm planning a trip to Bali and probably some other surrounding countries from end November 2016 to the end of February 2017.
I can see that I can get a 30 day tourist visa without an application and from reading other forums assume it will be okay for me to travel to another country before or at the end of that 30 days and get a new 30 day stay on return. My question is whether it is okay to have a return ticket from Bali which would have a return date 2-3 months after arrival?
Does anybody have suggestions for a reasonably goo, not necessary very cheap, but clean hotel, in a decent area?
We have to spend there 1 night (maybe twice).
Other question: having 3 days to spend at the end of our trip, without stressing transfer,
any suggestion to stay in Sorong "mainland" or surroundings in a nice place where is possible to go diving too?
Alternatively 3 days on a boat (liveaboard)there?
Hello! We are planning a trip to Bali and Cambodia for 24 days (Dec 19 - Jan 11). We are a traveling couple and both 30 years old. We chose these two countries because of the scuba diving in Bali and for Anghor Wat in Cambodia. One of us has traveled to Thailand and Hong Kong, and for the other its the first time in Asia. One of us is a dive master while the other still needs to finish the open water certification. We're not really interested in crazy parties, drinking, or crowded tourist areas…
I went to Raja Ampat 3 years ago. Now I am going back to Waisai (Waiwo Dive Resort, very nice place and people) and to Misool too. Last few days we would like to go to Kri Island which I remember very attractive just to stay there and snorkel (we are divers). The homestays I remember were quite basic. Does anybody know of any upgraded one (meaning bungalow/room with own bathroom) or any other "cheap" resort there?
Also any possibility to travel directly Sorong- Kri without going through Waisai?
Trying to fly out of Banda to Ambon tomorrow- the flight is supposedly fully booked but I've read they can find seats if the price is right. Anyone have any experience with this method? Is it indeed possible to bribe oneself into previously nonexistent seats? Otherwise it's the Tidar & another overnight in Ambon which I'd like to avoid. Also, the manager of the delfika is saying I won't be able to get a spot on the ship if I'm not down at the pelni office buying a ticket when it pulls in at 8am…
I have bought tickets for my friends and for me to the Djakarta warehouse project 2016 Jiexpo kemayoran Jakarta about which I had listened a lot from my elder brother who visits that area but requires more information to make my tour more entertaining kindly suggests something which helps me during travelings.
The tickets are booked and I'll be in Indo in late January 2017! This will be my third trip to my favourite country on earth, and this time I'd like to go to Raja Ampat (RA).
I was undecided between returning to Alor or the Bandas, or trying out RA, but then decided on RA.
My main focus will be snorkelling and relaxing. Can anyone recommend a nice homestay with GREAT snorkelling without the need of a boat charter. I want to wake up in the morning and go snorkelling straight…
Me and my partner are considering Indonesia for our honeymoon. Would really appreciate some suggestions of where to base ourselves and some of the top things to visit. I'm keen to do some temples and snorkelling. We're thinking of doing two weeks in Indonesia, then a few days in the Maldives - if we can afford it/ the connections work out.
Help very much appreciated :)
