Renting a car costs around 500, 000Rp per day, including driver and fuel for trips around the Maumere region. Those organising road trips to Moni and further west should agree on an itinerary and a schedule of staggered payments before departure. The travel agency PT Floressa Wisata and the Gardena Hotel can both organise rental cars. Motorcycles (around 50, 000Rp per day) can usually be arranged by your hotel.
