I know it's been mentioned before re KL refusing the 60 day visa but here's a quick account of what a young lad has been through over the past 24 hours to get a pre entry visa:
He initially arrived at KL on Friday and with all his correct documents, photos and exit ticket applied for the 60 day tourist visa. It was only when he completed the application with "tourist visa 60 days" they told him there was no such visa via their office and that he could continue with the application and receive…
Hi, I have a group of 11 looking to charter a boat as early as possible on April 18, 2015, departing from Gili T. We have a flight out of Denpasar airport at 4:15PM on that same day, and most fast boat companies will not arrive back in time.
Does anyone have experience with private charters or the public ferry?
Any suggestions welcome !
I'm hoping to go and stay on Pulau Weh for 2 months in late May. I'm looking at staying at one of the budget bungalows like Yulia's, O'ong, or Olala.
My problem is that I'm a very light sleeper and have a chronic illness that means I really need to get eight hours sleep a night. So, I'm always careful about which places I go to, to make sure I'll be able to sleep OK!
My question is: is there a lot of noise at night in any of these places? For example from roosters or local mosques…
Does anyone here have experience booking flights out of Kupang to Flores?
Basically I want to get to Labuan Bajo, but Ende or Maumere are also ok as I have a total of 9 days for my mini break holiday.
The information in the LP doesn't leave me full of confidence; it lacks the details.
My concerns are booking ahead and flight availability as I will be arriving in Kupang overland and I don't think I can book ahead; the websites like transnusa don't look too clear.
Currently in Penang and heading down to arrange a 60 day visa later today...just to ensure all goes smoothly I went ahead and booked an AA return flight towards end of May.....now I'm not being tight, but when the breakdown of my 369,000rp promo ticket shows the actual flight to be 169k with the added airport tax being 200k...well for some reason I want my 200k refunded as I won't be using the ticket, but instead will be extending; as much as I appreciate the immigration laws re exit tickets, it…
Preliminary Itinerary – Indonesia Honey Moon (July – 19 days)
My wife and I are traveling to Indonesia this coming July and we are hoping for some suggestions to our preliminary itinerary. We are 30-somethings that enjoy lounging on the beach, good food, cultural sites and a bit of adventure. We would like to skip the super touristy and party-party spots. When creating itineraries, we tend to go a bit crazy and plan way too much, so I am hoping for some advice.
July 12 ---…
OK this questions is obviously not to be answered objectively, the thing is, that I have been to Thailand, Laos, Kambodia last year (is Indonesia pretty similar or different?) plus I will spend 2 months in Sri Lanka before where I will have plenty of beach.
I will work in the hospital in Denpasar with still plenty of free time and wondered if there is enough to do besides chilling on the beach (like naturewise or other activities).
I most likely will go, though, but I want to be sure ;)
My wife and I (mid-40s) are tentatively looking into a trip to Indonesia for the 2016 March 9 total solar eclipse. The eclipse passes Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and Maluku before continuing over the Pacific. Depending on location, the eclipse occur between 7:20 in the west and 10:00 out east over Ternate.
So far we have thought of flying in and out of Singapore around February 28th - March 11th. For the…
