I'm a big fan of Indonesia and I'm going to visit Kalimantan first time in February with my friends.
I would like to ask you for an information.
Would like to take a flight from Kuching to Pontianak which arrives at 8AM and than would like to catch a longboat from Pontianak to Ketapang which leaves at 9.30AM.
Could you please tell if you think that this is possible. I have an information that we can do reservation with Dedek on a phone number 0856 5440 9299. Do you know if we have…
I am planning a trip to Indonesia March 20 - 29. The two main things I want to hit are Yogyakarta and Sukamade. I've done Yogyakarta before but will be travelling this time with my girlfriend who has never been. I'd also really like to do turtle beach at Sukamade. So I have two main questions:
Any advice on whether it will be an issue getting to Sukamade beach last week of March. I've seen some posts that suggest the route may be impassable due to the rains. Is this correct? Or…
I would deeply appreciate advice on the following:
I’m planning a flight to Manado with my family (2 adults and 2 children < 11yrs old) on April 2015.
How much time do I have to consider when I land on Wednesday 22 April at 22:05 pm with international flight (Qatar Airways from Doha) at terminal 2 D in Jakarta to take a connection flight to Manado?
I have check-in luggage and want to take local flight to Manado at 01:45(23 April) with Batik Air at terminal 3 but I don't know if 3:40 is…

from end Feb till end March I plan to be in Indonesia.
I could extend my stay, but for not much longer than 5/5.5 weeks, hence getting a visa extension to make use of it for just one week, makes me think I will be staying a month net!
as usual, I am a bit optimistic/ambitious with my travel plan: I would like to see a bit of Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Maluku, Kalimantan and why not, a bit of Komodo for the famous dragons!
but obviously this all is a quite too much! what you think I can…
I'm going to Bali for 2 months starting in January and was just wondering if anyone had any itinerary recommendations. I'm doing an ashram yoga retreat in Candidasa for 5 days and was then planning on spending a week or so in Ubud, seeing the rice fields and doing a couple of volcano treks (weather permitting) before heading to the Bukit peninsula and Nusa Lembongan. I'm going to avoid Kuta and Seminyak as I hear they're very touristy and crowded.
From there, I hope to go to the…
