Lonely Planet review
Right in the heart of the city, this historic hotel is easily the best in its class and is a Yoyga landmark. Dating back to 1918, it’s been sensitively converted to incorporate modern facilities. Rooms are gorgeous; it's worth paying a little extra for those with balconies overlooking the pool area. There's a spa, great cafe and the buffet breakfast spread is a sight for hungry bellies.
Our independent authors have visited Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta and selected this as one of our recommended historic hotels in Yogyakarta.
