Getting there & away

Buses leave for Darjeeling (Rs 45, three hours) and Siliguri (Rs 45, three hours). Share jeeps depart regularly to Darjeeling and Siliguri (Rs 50, 2½ hours) and Kurseong (Rs 60, three hours). Tickets can be purchased from the lakeside shack at the base of the main road.
