Numerous share jeeps run to Darjeeling (Rs 40, 1½ hours), Siliguri (Rs 50, 1½ hours), Kalimpong (Rs 100, 3½ to four hours) and Mirik (Rs 60, 2½ hours). Buses leave from near the train station for Darjeeling (Rs 25, two hours) and Siliguri (Rs 40, 2½ hours).

The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway’s steam toy train for Darjeeling (2nd/1st class Rs 25/144, four hours) leaves at 6am, weather permitting, while the diesel version (originating at New Jalpaiguri) departs around 1.17pm. A diesel train (originating in Darjeeling) to Siliguri (2nd/1st class Rs 30/166, four hours) departs at 11.55pm.
