Teacher seems NOT interested in teaching

I went to his class after reading good reviews on Lonely Planet but I was rather disappointed with Mr. Bhuwan's class.
What put me off was he left the classroom for numbers of times to take care of his own business, give lesson to another student and chat with his foreigner friends.
I expect the teacher's full attention when I pay for "private" lesson.
He did not seem very much interested in teaching either.
So I decided not to return and found other music school in the town.
I suspect some of good reviews were written by his foreign friend I saw hanging around him.

Es una maravillosa escuela de música con un gran maestro Bhuwan. Él es un músico muy talentoso y un excelente maestro del instrumento sitar. Imagina que en esta escuela no encontraras a los maestros ordinarios, sino a los maestros de la música india, famosos exponentes de Rishikesh.
Considerando el nivel tan alto de profesionalidad en los estudios y clases tan alucinantes, el precio es realmente muy bajo, a sólo 300 rupias por cada clase. Además, la duración de la clase no está limitada de tiempo, se puede seguir hasta que haya terminado sus practicas .
En la escuela tienes gran oportunidad de aprender sitar, tabla, flauta y la armónica.Además de las clases de música, puedes visitar sus conciertos semanales y comprar los instrumentos de alta calidad a un precio realmente asequible.
Recomiendo esta escuela a todos los aficionados a la música india

Bhuwan Chandra is an exceptional teacher. Not only he plays sitar, he's an experienced tabla player, knows harmonium well, is able to teach singing and mantra chanting as well. Add his immense charisma to his list of skills and you have the extraordinary experience while in Rishikesh.
With every new tabla lesson I could see 300% growth. Isn't that great? Tabla, one of the most complex percussions in the world seems a no struggle to me now.
Oh, and the tablas they make and sell in their music school are of good quality and are priced extra low. Recommended!

Буван Чандра – видатний вчитель. Будучи висококласним сітаристом, він також має широкий досвід у грі на таблі, володіє індійською гармонікою, може навчити співу та мантра-чантингу. Додайте до переліку його здібностей безкрайню харизму і отримаєте неповторний досвід перебування в Ришікеші.
Із кожним наступним уроком з табли я реєструю розвиток на 300%. Хіба це не чудово? Тепер табла – один із найскладніших перкусіних інструментів світу – не лякає мене :)
Ще, майте на увазі: табли, що їх виготовляють та продають у школі, доброї якості та невисокої ціни. Рекомендую!

Я прошла всего 6-7 уроков игры на ситаре, и уже прилично умею играть на иснтрументе. Мой муж изучает таблу и у него такой же отличный прогресс. Мне очень нравится что в этой школе буквально форсируют занятия, так что уже на втором-третьем уроке можно играть настоящую музыку. Буван очень внимательный учитель, атмосфера классаня, дружественная, в общем рекомендую всем кто хочет действительно научиться играть на индийском музыкальном инструменте.

如果来到里虚凯诗(Rishikesh)，你只有像个观光客一样到处观光或是做些瑜珈（yoga），那就太可惜了！ 因为在去印度之前曾经有看过有人边弹印度手风琴(harmonium)边唱歌，自娱娱人，气氛超好；所以在我留在里虚凯诗的最后二个半礼拜，我决定去学学印度手风琴及梵唱；我去的地方是我的瑜珈老师的音乐老师那里。当我第一次去到The Veena Maharaj Music School（Veena Mahara 音乐学校）看到我接下来的日子的音乐老师：Bhuwan Chandra，才发现 Bhuwan老师就是不久之前我在一场印度音乐会上看到的很厉害的Sitar演奏家（Sitar是一种印度传统乐器）。 所以接下来的日子，每天下午我会到位于Ram Jhula (Jhula 桥) 东北边约十几公尺警察站 (police post)隔壁的Veena Mahara音乐学校去跟老师学琴 （Bhuwan老师一对一教导 sitar, 印度手风琴, tabla, 鼓 各种印度乐器）， 同时只要你们人数够的话，他也可以为你举办私人的音乐会 （在我离开印度前的最后一个礼拜天，我及瑜珈班的十几个同学一起请老师办了一场印度传统音乐会。 （老师弹sitar，另两位演奏家打tabla鼓, 及一长型的鼓）。Bhuwan老师是很随和，爱聊天，有耐心的老师；如果你有兴趣在里虚凯诗学一点印度乐器或听一场传统印度音乐会，那就请你打老师的(印度)手机 9412029817 ,或写email: bhuwan_b30@yahoo.co.in 与老师联络。
老师一对一的教学是一小时300卢比 (300Rs)，只要接下来没人来使用/学 手风琴，你也可以继续留下来练习弹弹唱唱；我超过一半的课都上了一个半小时，都是我自己觉得我实在给人家也待太久了吧，自己不好意思，才向老师说再见滴，老师连一次都没提醒我时间的问题。 ps. 老师那里有个小院子，有棵大树及无线上网， (收费很低的样子) 我有一个同学很喜欢提前去那里上网。

The Veena Maharaj Music School has now move. The same owner, Bhuwan Chandra, has relocated to Swargashram, a few metres northeast of Ram Jhula Bridge, next to the police post. Bhuwan is extremely amiable and offers a chai to the most casual visitor. I found his new location through the Lonely Planet phone number, which hasn’t changed, 9412029817. Bhuwan Chandra has quite a reputation in Rishikesh and his sitar performances are extremely popular. His new school has a splendid concert hall close by, allowing Bhuwan to teach larger groups, should you want to travel in a small party. He can arrange accommodation in the adjoining Akash Ganga ashram, at very reasonable rates around $5 a room, for small groups. Bhuwan can stage exclusive concerts for your group during your stay. You can also take yoga lessons with Kamal Chandra, Bhuwan’s brother. Bhuwan is a qualified yoga tutor himself and the brothers specialize in combining yoga with music in a unique way.
