Hi

Some of you may know how I sing the praises of Delhi's less visited sights. Now I'm going there to see some more.

I read about this particular place but am not exactly sure where it is. When I type this into google maps, it takes me to Ghalib Academy, which seems to have a similar description. Its extremely close to Humayun's Tomb but I don't remember seeing/hearing anything about it.

So is the haveli and museum open? Anybody knows?

Thanks!

Ansh

Hello,

Me and three friends will be landing in Delhi on the 15th of July, so pretty soon!
We were thinking of heading straight to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan from Delhi by train.
At the moment I am trying to pre-book this train through the Indian Rail website, but its not working. I need to make a user in order to book a train and this is proving very difficult.

Do you think it would be ok to not pre-book anything, but wait till we arrive in Delhi, go straight to the train station and try getting a…

Hi everyone!
I've been dying to visit India for sometime now and finally have time this year in late September/October to do so!
I understand from reading the forum that it is impossible to visit EVERYWHERE but i'm a bit overwhelmed with the number of places people are recommending to visit.

Could any one of you please suggest a suitable itinerary for 8 to 10 days? I don't have to see everything and I plan to visit India again in the future so I would rather spend adequate time per each city and…

Not sure best place for this so please move if appropriate.

I am US citizen who hopes to get 10-yr multi entry visa for India. I am in the middle of a round the world trip. Have some extra time in Mongolia so thought I'd apply. The gentleman at the embassy said yes it is possible to get the 10 yr however it is too early to get it (my first entry will be mid-September for a transit to Nepal, then a tourist visit proper in November). He advised me to apply next month and that the 10yr should…

Delhi government has decided to ban over-the-counter sale of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like Aspirin, Dispirin, Brufen, Voveran, etc. from August 15 till November 30 as the use of these, according to experts, may pose a threat to dengue patients.
