Land
Bus
The bus stand is about 500m from the Hotel River View, 1.5km to the north of town. For services, see above.
Train
Vellore’s main train station is 5km north at Katpadi. Bus 192 (Rs 2) shuttles between the station and town. There are at least six daily express trains to/from Chennai Central (2nd class/sleeper Rs 42/67), which continue to Bengaluru (Rs 65/104).
