Lonely Planet review for Satsanga
This very popular backyard spot serves excellent continental cuisine and, like most places in this genre, a full Indian menu as well. The large variety of sausages and lovely homemade bread and butter goes down a particular treat, as do any of the steaks.

Worst end of a beautiful holiday
akubha does not recommend this,
We had to wait for more than one hour for food after placing our orders. The food was cooked as if by a bachelor guy experimenting with cooking for the first time. The food was absolutely raw - badly mixed up. All dishes were identical - fish pieces in the raw juice of tomato and onions with some raw pieces of tomatoes as topping. The butter chicken orderd by one of us who is a die hard fan of north Indian cuisine, was a parody of butter chicken and the vegetable pulao had raw lady fingers (Bhindi) in poor quality boiled rice. We were told by the waiter that three was no manager of the restaurant and it was manged by "us" (the waiters). That solves the puzzle!!

Unfortunately a bit overrated with lackluster service...
karolinelien does not recommend this,
If you want tzatziki or mashed potatoes, it is the place to go. It is unfortunately a quite overrated restaurant that has some less fortunate dishes (According to a friend, the spinach ravioli tasted like tooth paste). Also, on the evenings when the restaurant is very full (Fridays), you can expect barely any service.

An average restaurant that is overhyped
srikanth13 recommends this,
While "Satsanga" seems to be the Go-To / Must-visit place for continental / french cuisine, I felt that the overall experience was nothing above average.
The setting and general atmosphere screams for one to have a long and lazy lunch which is great! The hotel however needs to do much more to keep the hotel clean. We saw the kitchen trash being taken across tables where the guests were dining, which attracted a lot of flies everywhere!
On the food front, while certain dishes are really great, I noticed that the small things there were not paid attention to. The garlic bread felt like rocks in my mouth, the vegetables were dead long ago and the mousse that we ordered was like chocolate paste.
Overall, a relatively good place to go to, but dont go there with high expectations.
