Getting there & away

Buses stop at the edge of town, about 1km from the centre. Buses to Ooty depart hourly (Rs 15, two hours), crossing one of Tamil Nadu’s highest passes. Buses to Mettupalayam leave every 30 minutes and to Coonoor every 15 minutes.
