Lonely Planet review for Lotus Cafe

This funky little restaurant plucks out fabulous chicken dishes (predominantly Indian) and is ideal for meeting and greeting other travellers. There are board games available, a mezzanine to loll about on, and plenty of cool background sounds.

    Great food in Udaipur

    Lotus Cafe in Udaipur, has delicious food, at a budjet price. I was always going back for the chicken spring rolls, tadoori chicken and chicken butter masala, hmmm yumi...The cafe has an upstairs level where you take your shoes off and sit back and relax on the big comfy cushions whislt having cups of chai.
    The staff are really friendly and helpful, telling me places of interest to see around Udaipur that werent in the travel guide. A top notch place to eat, and meet fellow travellers and locals..
    Something for everyone.
