At water level, looking across to Lake Palace Hotel and Lal Ghat, Ambrai feels like a French park, with its wrought-iron chairs and dusty ground. The food at this scenic restaurant is nothing to rave about, but after a couple of sunset drinks, the mattar rajputana will do the trick.
