Lonely Planet review

This 280-year-old sandstone haveli is a fascinating hotel. The raw sandstone rooms have arched stone ceilings, and the ambience of a medieval castle. They are beautifully, sumptuously and romantically decorated, though some are a little on the dark side, lacking much in the way of natural light. The courtyard and common rooms come with all the Rajput trimmings, including swing chairs and bearskin rugs.
