Lonely Planet review

This former maharaja’s home has huge, clean, airy rooms, many of them facing the sea. Great common areas include a TV room with movies screened nightly, and a ‘restaurant’ (table on a verandah) with a friendly cook who will chat with you, gauge your tastes and bring you something fantastic that isn’t on the menu. Shared bathrooms are spotless.
