Lonely Planet review for Swati Snacks
This bustling old-timer has been revamped as a modern cafeteria for discerning grown-ups (all stainless steel and smooth wood). Try the delicious bhelpuri, panki chatni (savoury pancake steamed in a banana leaf) and homemade ice cream in delectable flavour combinations like rose-coconut-pineapple. Don't leave Mumbai without snacking here.

Some great chaat and Indian fast food.
massively recommends this,
If you don't know anything about the Indian cuisine, rather, the Mumbai cuisine, it would do you well to take someone along.
Though I would personally recommend a Sev Puri for an appetizer and a Pav Bhaji for the larger meal, while sipping some Sweet Mango Lassi on the side.Good for: amazing food and service

Swati Snacks - A Bombay Experience
megszy recommends this,
I am a local to this amazing city...and I totally vouch for this restaurant! For locals or visitors, the food, service, ambience is a unique experience at Swati! Almost every dish on the menu is a must-have! The most famous being the 'paanki'... this mouth watering dish is the perfect combination of the subtle flavour of the rice pancakes which when combined with the 'chutney' bursts in your mouth, making it a fantastic, satisfying, tummy filling experience in itself! In South Bombay, this small little restaurant, tucked away on one of the oldest parts of the city is a bustling, space-constricted joint... but the experience of having a meal over here is so typically 'Bombay Style!'
