Excellent service and shiny tiled floors in big rooms make this the best quality option near Hamidia Rd...
Big, airy rooms in this old-school Indian hotel come with clean, tiled flooring and quality wooden furniture. Much better value than its foreign-friendly neighbours, but you may face language problems.
Smart rooms with marble floors, dark-wood furniture, TV and balcony, right in the heart of New Market.
Don't be put off by the alleyway outside - Manjeet is competing for the 'best midrange hotel' rosette. The clean, tidy rooms, quiet retreats off Hamidia Rd, have sparkling tile floors and all mod cons.
The cheapest rooms are good value with Hollywood films on the TV and decent furniture. Grubby carpets are the only let-down.
Rooms are quite small but even the cheapies are clean and smart and come with TV, some artwork and attractive bedspreads. The bar-restaurant (mains Rs. 72 to Rs. 126, beer Rs. 99) is very popular.
White-washed walkways lead to 33 clean and spacious AC rooms, all of which are comfortable albeit lacking character. Bathrooms are cramped for this price range. Has a bar and restaurant.
