Brilliant place- family atmosphere- interesting books and...

... I am biased. Know Bharat and Vineeta from when they were on Theatre Road and my brother reviewed books for them. But I know that they will look for any book you need and happily display books you find. They are avid environmentalists and support activist writing as well as good scholarly stuff. My daughter enjoys their children's selection and they have a good collection on alternatives in education. I like their health section- that's my subject- but it is also true that they have books on health that I don't find in other places. And it is always good to sit on the "mohras", have a lime juice and chat about books and more. found a similar shop in Koramangala recently- Book Stop. and there was Yaazh Library in Coimbatore. few and far between- though Subarnarekha in santiniketan is quite resourceful too.
