With no-frills rooms at no-frills prices, this is probably the best budget value in town. The basic and clean rooms are on the 5th and 6th floors here and have TV and occasional hot water.

This showy tower that looks like an ornate 10-storey meringue caters to Thrissur’s jet set. Thankfully, the rooms are not too over the top, are quite comfy and have big windows to enjoy the upper floor’s sweeping views.
Yatri Nivas
This government-run hotel is opposite the town stadium on a refreshingly quiet street. Set around scruffy gardens, it has large, plain rooms and service as slow as molasses.
Hotel Luciya Palace
In a cream, colonial-themed building, this is one of the few places in town that has some character.
