Certainly not. Delhi is a huge detour. Better to choose the direct Amritsar Manali bus. If it's too long, possible stopover at Mandi.…

They are all long trips. Better to find a quiet place in Himachal but out of Mandi. Rishikesh might suit but it is pretty muggy.
