The House Of Mg
Lonely Planet review
This 1920's building (with two excellent restaurants) was once the home of industrialist Sheth Mangaldas Girdhardas, converted into a beautiful heritage hotel by his great grandson. All the rooms are vast, verandah-edged and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. Included in the tariff are breakfast and first-rate service. It’s an icon of the upper classes, and hugely popular with locals and foreigners alike. The indoor swimming pool and health club are divine.
