Superfresh food is the key to the fabulous Tibetan and even Italian dishes here. Go for the veg momo (Tibetan dumpling) soup and a nice hot bowl of pasta, and you might just decide to stick around in Vagator an extra day or two, to do it all over again. The chairs and tablecloths are plastic and the walls are lime green, but – perhaps because of the friendly service and soft Chinese pop music – it’s cosy to boot.
