Lonely Planet review

London-based Holiday on the Menu offers a range of Goan cooking holidays, ranging from a Saturday ‘Curry Morning’ and a Thursday ‘Vegetarian Morning’ to a whole-week program including trips out to a spice plantation and a local market, based in the picturesque village of Betim, just across the river from Panaji. Prices start at US$149 per person for the Saturday Curry Morning, and US$199 for the Thursday Vegetarian Morning, which also includes an ayurvedic massage, in case all that chopping takes a toll.
