Introducing Mobor

Little Mobor comprises the spit of land that licks down to the banks of the Sal River. Drive the road to its culmination and you’ll pass the fancy entrances of the Holiday Inn and Leela on your right-hand side, and the picturesque fishing-boat-lined Sal estuary on your left. Here you’ll get a good glimpse of Goa’s opposing faces: the gated decadence of the Leela – with its 12-hole golf course and gourmet Italian restaurant – and the poverty-stricken migrant fishermen who wake each morning at 3am to ply the seas and make ends meet.
