Friendly owners run Mapusa’s best budget choice, though best not bring a cat since there won’t be room to swing it in any of the 14 plain double rooms. The hotel’s quaint Obsession Pub is open for bar-propping each evening.
Mapusa Residency
Service is indifferent and rooms are in the bland-but-functional mould you’d expect from GTDC accommodation, but if all else fails it’s a clean place to spend the night, conveniently placed beside the bus stand for an easy getaway the next mornin.
