I'm a documentary photographer from Kerala.
I wish to make a photo feature on backpackers, capturing the ephemeral, candid and intimate moments.
The motivation behind my work is to immortalize, share and tell that unique stories of excitement, self-exploration and experience of backpackers.
If you are truly interested and comfortable being photographed feel free to write me.

Hi,
Last year I had an amazing 12 days in India. I visited Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaipur and then on to Agra and Varanassi. An internal flight from Delhi to Udaipur and then back from Varanassi to Delhi helped me to squeeze this all in. All other journeys were by train which is my preferred mode of transport.
This year, I have another 12 days to explore, also starting and ending in Delhi. I absolutely loved everywhere I went last year. Udaipur for its beautiful city palace complex and riding in the…

Hello,
in the Mid of June I want to trek from the Manali-Leh-Road (Darcha) into the Zsankar Valley (Padum) crossing the Shingo La.
As I will have my bicycle with me I want to arrange support by a horse/mule/donkey . I plan the the horse carries my luggage and I push/carry the bike.
Can anyone tell me a good place to arrange a horse including horse driver/guide . I will arrive Darcha cycling coming from Manali side.
Any hints and recommendations are very welcome.
And if someone should know the…

Personally I've become less enthusiastic since looking up information about possible excursions (on camelback or with jeeps) because apparently the Thar desert is neither a typical "sand dunes" desert nor is it as authentic in terms of nomadic life as one would expect.

Ideally we'd like to do a 2/3 days hike…

[Sexual abuse against women in India is dreadful and makes travelling in India a nightmare for many women, both Indian and foreign. This post however is about a particular problem I've encountered as a male traveller and I wonder whether I've just been unlucky?]

I've had massages in more than 20 countries. I've occasionally been asked by a (female) masseuse whether I "need something extra" and I have always politely declined. Twice in India, both times in major tourism destinations, a (male)…
