Lonely Planet review for Park Baluchi
Although service gets the thumbs down, this enchanting, greenery-surrounded restaurant, set in the Deer Park, offers unusual barbecue dishes, such as banarasi seekh kabab (minced vegetables and cheese) or murg potli (flambéed marinated chicken breast and minced mutton). Avoid weekends if squealing kiddies get your goat.

Excellent concept - imperfect execution
neelima_j recommends this,
you have to give them credit for the idea -
you sit in a glass room, surrounded by the park, looking at the deer grazing or generally lolling.the food is amazingly tasty and perfectly cooked.
the service is impeccable and the staff seem eager to help.the live music is non intrusive and the tunes really do transport you to the northwest
BUT
the room stank of cleaning liquid + disinfectant.
the chairs reclined too much - uncomfortable and impossible to sit back and eat.
the table was weirdly high and my arms hurt at the end of the meal !! ( and no - im a regular sized person )Good for: service and quality, food and idea
Not good for: smells like disinfectant

Park Baluchi-Dine in the Lap of Nature
itsme9001 recommends this,
Park Baluchi has a perfect ambiance to wine and dine in the lap of nature. Its a place to sit and relax, savoring the delicacies of Hyderabadi, Awadhi and Punjabi cuisine. They offer a range of delectable wines and beers. Turbaned waiters in waistcoats serve nicely and promptly.
Park Baluchi Hauz Khas is located in the middle of Deer Park and surrounded by forest and manicured lawns. Here one can enjoy the delicious food with a backdrop of natural surroundings, gazing peacocks, rabbit and deer. The natural and extremely mesmerizing ambiance has made this place a best food spot. Its main restaurant & glass room is totally air-conditioned with the furniture tastefully selected to blend with nature. You can also view deer grazing as you enjoy your food. The restaurant has a centralized bar with display kitchen where you can see the food being prepared in hygienic surroundings.Bold interiors with rustic wood flooring resemble the culture of the North-West Frontier region. This place assures you of comfort and marvelous food.Park Baluchi restaurant is the winner of the National Tourism Award for 5 yeas in succession (instituted by the Government of India)Good for: atmosphere, food, Solo Travellers, service
