    Nice and pleasent place

    igapova recommends this,

The roof top part of the restaurant is small but cozy and is a good place to “hide” from the blasting noise of the street.
There’s a good choice of traditional Indian and European (mainly Italian) dishes.
One of the best Daal Makhani I tried in India (it’s Daal Metropolis in the menu). The chicken tikka and the palak paneer were delicious too.
Don’t forget to try some of their deserts – the vanilla ice cream with caramel and raisins is fantastic!
The stuff is very kind and you can have a nice chat, especially with some of the Nepalese waiters.
The prices are little bit higher compared to most of the mid range restaurants but completely reasonable for western tourists.

Metropolis, said to be 78-years-old,The best thing about Metropolis is that it excels in continental entrées.The prices are reasonable - it's essentially aimed at the middle class Middle European traveler ,most entrées are Rs. 200-250, whereas sandwiches, pancakes etc are in the Rs. 90-110 range.
The best thing about Metropolis is that they let you be. You can sit there enjoy , relishing your food, wearing what you want to and reading...your book etc.The service is good..
